I took Grady for a walk this morning.(hand walking not riding) Now that he is setteld in he is completly different. We walked all around the yard and my grandpas property. nothing seems to bother this horse.(so far) not even the plastic tarp that was covering last winters hay blowing in the wind. He doesnt mind being hosed off, stands tied well. Our only real obsticle today was picking up his feet. He obviously has not had many lessons on this. I only tried his front feet today and he picks them up right away when you touch them but seems to want to drop down to his knee. if you pull up on his foot he straightens out a little bit. By the time I was done working with him today he let me hold up each foot for about 10 seconds untill I set it down without trying to fall down .
